In this math basketball game students will solve one-step equations with addition and subtraction. The equations have only positive solutions that are either whole numbers or decimals.

Students are encouraged to try the problems in their notebooks or on a piece of paper before choosing their answers. For each incorrect answer, they will be penalized by 10 points; therefore guessing is not the best strategy to solve the problems.
